Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary construction projects at Starbase and other facilities in South Texas. You will own the full lifecycle from scope to close-out, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with architects, vendors, and the facilities team.

The role demands 8+ years of experience, strong drawing interpretation, and ability to work bilingual in English and Spanish in a fast-paced environment. On-site with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Experience with project management of major construction projects including estimating and cost control.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of multidisciplinary construction projects to achieve on-time and under-budget delivery.
• Provide guidance on preliminary scope and ROM costs.
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors.
• Evaluate bids and review proposals for cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop final cost and schedule; manage contracts with subcontractors.
• Coordinate with city, county, and regulatory approvals.
• Ensure site safety and environmental compliance.
