Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager based in the Brownsville/South Padre area to lead infrastructure projects at Starbase and other facilities.

You will own multidisciplinary construction initiatives from conception to activation, ensuring on-time delivery and cost control in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing contracts, coordinating with engineers and vendors, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and own the full lifecycle of multidisciplinary construction projects to achieve on-time and under-budget delivery with customer satisfaction.
• Provide guidance and input on preliminary scope/customer requests, including ROM costs.
• Gather proposals from architects, engineers, vendors, or contractors.
• Evaluate competitive bids as appropriate.
• Review proposals for accuracy, identify and track cost-saving suggestions or improvements.
• Develop the final cost and schedule for the project.
• Coordinate with end user and facilities team for building operations and maintenance.
• Interact with contractors, fabricators, and internal customers.
