Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Construction Sales Engineer for the Seattle/Western Washington region. You’ll drive project-based revenue by developing relationships with consultants, contractors, and distributors, guiding design-in and specification activity across the project lifecycle.

You will manage a robust pipeline, forecast accurately, and coordinate with Siemens teams to close opportunities while expanding the product suite in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5+ years in power distribution sales, engineering, or project management preferred.
• Experience with electrical contractors, engineers, and distributors.
• Knowledge of low- and medium-voltage products: switchboards, busway, switchgear.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow revenue and market share.
• Own project-based opportunities from early design to bid and execution.
• Build and manage a qualified project pipeline with accurate data.
• Guide customers on specifications and Siemens solutions during design cycles.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, owners, and distributors to close opportunities.
• Forecast opportunities and maintain disciplined pursuit follow-through.
• Engage internal teams to align on strategy and competitive positioning.
• Expand Siemens' solution footprint within existing accounts and new prospects.
