Job summary

Siemens Construction Sales Engineer will own project-based revenue growth in the Eastern Washington/Northern Idaho market, developing relationships across the construction ecosystem and positioning Siemens low- and medium-voltage power distribution solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must live in or relocate to the sales territory.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; HS diploma or GED equivalency is the minimum education requirement when experience is substituted.
• 5+ years in power distribution sales, engineering, or project management.
• Experience with electrical distribution products and related equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 10% based on customer, territory, and business needs.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and market share with measurable sales results.
• Develop and drive sales plans for target customers, project pursuits, competitive opportunities, and actions required to grow share.
• Build a qualified project pipeline; maintain accurate opportunity data, project timing, next steps, risks, and forecast updates.
• Engage across the full construction project lifecycle—from early design through bid, award, execution, and follow-on opportunities to identify and advance Siemens solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with consulting engineers, electrical contractors, owners, developers, end users, distributors, channel partners, and other collaborators who influence project decisions.
