Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Construction Sales Engineer to drive project-based revenue growth in the San Francisco market and surrounding area. You will develop strategic territory plans, build a qualified pipeline, and coordinate with consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, end users and Siemens teams to influence specifications and pursue opportunities.

You will manage opportunities from early design through bid and execution, delivering forecasts and partnering across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience; HS diploma or GED equivalency is the minimum education requirement when experience is substituted.
• Experience in power distribution sales, engineering, or project management related to electrical manufacturing or construction sales.
• 5+ years of experience in power distribution or related field.
• Experience managing customer accounts and developing or supporting project-based sales opportunities.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage distribution products.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and market share with accountability for measurable sales results.
• Develop and drive sales plans targeting customers, projects, and opportunities.
• Build a qualified project pipeline and maintain accurate forecast data in CRM.
• Engage across the full project lifecycle from design to bid, award, and execution.
• Influence project specifications with technical and commercial guidance early in the cycle.
• Travel up to 10% to support territory needs.
