ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Intern to join our team in Framingham, MA. The internship offers hands-on exposure to estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyouts, permitting, and site visits, with meaningful responsibilities from day one.

You will work closely with project managers, developers, and engineers to learn best practices in construction management, gain real-world skills, and contribute to high-profile design-build projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors/trades
• Design meetings – attend with owner and team to understand proposals
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule and drawings to subs, evaluate and award
• Permitting – fill out permit forms and submit with drawings and fees
• Shop drawing/submittal review – receive, review and communicate to subcontractor
• Billing – manage subcontracts, change orders, pay requests and applications
• Job site visits – accompany PM to ensure project runs smoothly
