Job summary

ARCO Murray Construction Company in Orlando, FL is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Intern to join our team. You will work closely with Project Managers to support estimating, scheduling, buyout, design meetings, permitting, submittals, billing, and site visits.

The internship offers hands-on experience with real project responsibilities, a strong benefits package, and exposure to a leading design-build firm.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating, scheduling, and buyout tasks.
• Attend design meetings with owner and team to understand project scope.
• Coordinate permitting forms and submittals with authorities.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and communicate next steps to subcontractors.
• Support billing activities including subcontracts and pay applications.
• Conduct job-site visits with the PM to ensure project progress.
• Assist with subcontracting, change orders, and vendor coordination.
• Support other project management duties as needed.
