ARCO National Construction Company is seeking a motivated Project Manager Intern to support estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, and site visits this summer. You will work closely with Project Managers, gain real project exposure, and learn through an intensive internship program that can lead to a full‑time role.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous internship or co‑op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with estimating by describing proposals and assigning values.
• Create a working schedule for subcontractors to meet timeline goals.
• Attend design meetings to understand proposals from engineers and architects.
• Distribute bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subs and evaluate proposals.
• Complete permitting forms and submit with drawings and fees for approvals.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and coordinate with suppliers.
• Assist with subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications.
• Visit job sites with the PM to ensure smooth project progression.
