ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Framingham, MA is seeking a Project Manager Intern to support project teams during the summer. You will gain hands-on experience by assisting with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, submittals, billing, and site visits.

The program emphasizes mentorship, ESOP pathway, competitive pay, housing stipend if needed, and opportunities to transition to a full-time role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Previous internship or co-op construction experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describe project proposals and assign dollar values
• Scheduling – create a working timeline for subcontractors/trades to complete the project on time
• Design meetings – attend design meetings with owner and team to understand proposals
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule, and drawings to subcontractors; evaluate proposals and award subcontracts
• Permitting – fill out permit forms and submit for approvals
• Shop drawing/submittal review – review and communicate next steps to subcontractors
• Billing – handle subcontracts, change orders, pay requests, and pay applications
• Job site visits – accompany PM to ensure the project runs smoothly
