Job summary

Opti Staffing is seeking a Payroll Specialist to process weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll for field and office staff across Oregon, Washington, and California. You will import timekeeping data, verify codes, and Ensure accuracy for certified payroll reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, strong Excel and ERP skills, and can handle confidential information with discretion in a small team setting. This is an on-site role in Clackamas, OR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• Experience in a deadline-driven payroll environment.
• Experience using an ERP or payroll system.
• Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly, monthly, and off-cycle payroll for field and office employees across multiple states.
• Import and audit timekeeping data, verifying job codes and hours.
• Prepare weekly certified payroll reports for public works projects.
• Complete WH-347 reporting and submit certified payroll through LCPtracker and other required systems.
• Handle certified payroll reporting through Oregon BOLI, Washington L&I, and California DIR when required.
