Job summary

LHH is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its centralized Finance team, supporting multiple construction-related operating entities. The role focuses on accurate weekly payroll processing, certified payroll, and payroll data integrity in a high-volume, multi-state environment.

The ideal candidate has strong full-cycle payroll experience, works well with field operations, project teams, and HR, and can manage complex timekeeping, wage determinations, and compliance requirements across states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle payroll in a high-volume environment.
• Construction, certified payroll, prevailing-wage, or multi-entity payroll experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Davis-Bacon, prevailing wage, WH-347 reporting and multi-state payroll taxes.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multiple entities.
• Import, validate, and correct timekeeping data (hours, jobs, project phases).
• Maintain earnings, deductions, stipends, garnishments, benefits, and shift differentials.
• Process off-cycle, manual, and correction checks as needed.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and timekeeping issues.
