This role supports certified payroll processing for a 1,000+ employee, multi-state workforce and involves collaboration across payroll, accounting, HR, and project management teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of certified payroll experience.
• Experience processing payroll for 1,000+ employees.
• Construction payroll experience required.
• Multi-state payroll experience required.
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and wage reporting.
• Experience with union payroll is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare certified payroll reports for construction projects while ensuring compliance with wage and reporting requirements.
• Support payroll administration for a large employee population across multiple states.
• Review and validate hours, job classifications, wage rates, deductions, and payroll adjustments for accuracy.
• Maintain payroll records and assist with audits and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with payroll, accounting, HR, and project management to resolve payroll-related issues and ensure timely processing.
