LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in the construction industry to identify an experienced Certified Payroll Specialist for a contract role in the North Cincinnati area. The position will manage certified payroll reporting for a large multi-state workforce and ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.

We seek a candidate with prior certified payroll and construction payroll experience who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience required.
• Certified payroll experience with construction projects preferred.
• Experience supporting payroll for large workforces (1,000+ employees) across multiple states.
• Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and wage reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process certified payroll reporting for construction projects in compliance with wage requirements.
• Support payroll activities for a workforce of 1,000+ across multiple states.
• Review employee hours, job classifications, pay rates, deductions and adjustments for accuracy.
• Maintain organized payroll records and provide documentation for audits and reporting requests.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll issues.
• Collaborate with payroll, accounting, HR and operations to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
