Job summary

Luster National is seeking Office Engineers of various levels to support large, complex heavy civil programs (highways, bridges, transit, airports). You’ll manage submittals, RFIs, and contract records, ensuring accurate documentation for payments and audits.

This is a pool role for future opportunities, with talent pool activation upon selection. Candidates should have 5+ years of office engineering experience on large projects, proficiency with Procore and other PM software, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• 5+ years in office engineering for large, complex heavy-civil projects.
• Experience administering submittal, RFI, and construction logs.
• Working knowledge of contract docs, specs and drawings; pay apps and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Administer submittal and RFI processes, track items through review.
• Maintain construction records: contracts, plans, specs, addenda, as-builts.
• Review pay applications against quantities, schedule of values and contract terms.
• Compile change order documentation and negotiation history for records.
• Monitor insurance, bonds, certified payroll, DBE participation, permits.
• Coordinate document flow across active work areas and packages.
• Reconcile field records with contractor submittals to support payments.
• Prepare progress reports, log summaries and meeting minutes; close actions.
• Organize document control structure with versioning and retention.
