Job summary

Luster National is seeking Office Engineers to support large and complex heavy civil infrastructure projects in Maryland. The role covers submittals, RFIs, contract records, pay applications, and change documentation across highways, bridges, transit, and water/wastewater programs.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
Experience with office engineering for large, heavy-civil infrastructure projects is preferred.
Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and contract records processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

Administer submittal and RFI processes, logging and tracking items through review and response.
Maintain construction records, plans, specs, addenda, and as‑built markups for current approval.
Review pay applications against quantities and contract terms, routing for approval.
Compile change order documentation and negotiation history to support program position.
Monitor contract compliance items including cert payroll, DBE participation, permits, and insurance.
