Job summary

Machine Recruitment Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow our construction supply business across the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will build relationships with contractors, visit jobsites, and sell rebar, concrete products, and related construction supplies.

The role emphasizes developing new business, understanding jobsite pacing, and following through for customers, with base compensation plus commission and travel across DFW.

Qualifications

• Experience in outside sales, preferably in construction supply, concrete products, rebar, or building materials.
• Knowledge of construction jobsites, contractor purchasing needs, and project timelines.
• Strong prospecting, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage a territory, organize follow-ups, and work independently.
• Comfort using CRM software, email, and quoting tools.

Responsibilities

• Find and develop new accounts with concrete contractors, general contractors, builders, and subcontractors.
• Grow existing accounts through regular visits, responsive service, and product recommendations.
• Sell rebar, reinforcement products, concrete supplies, and related construction materials.
• Visit jobsites and customer offices throughout DFW to identify upcoming projects and material needs.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on bids, and negotiate within company pricing guidelines.
• Coordinate with inside sales, purchasing, and delivery teams to help get accurate orders to jobsites on time.
• Maintain customer records, track sales opportunities, and meet sales and gross profit goals.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
