Job summary

SPEC Building Materials is seeking an Outside Sales Team member to maintain customer relationships, grow product sales and develop new accounts while promoting the full SPEC product line. Based at 5225 Martin St., Fort Worth, TX, you will prospect, service contractors and drive revenue.

The role emphasizes strong communication, math and computer skills, time management, and the ability to present, negotiate and close deals with vendors and customers.

Qualifications

• Two years of industry experience in home building or remodeling is a plus.
• At least two years of outside sales experience in building materials distribution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting for new accounts through cold calling, provide leads and networking.
• Meet and exceed pre determined sales goals.
• Maintain existing customer base with excellent customer service.
• Understand and advise customers on products and services that SPEC Building Materials offers.
• Maintain good relationships with our valued vendors.
• Maintain a successful track record selling building materials to contractors. Demonstrate and practice excellent customer service skills.
