Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, is seeking a Construction Manager to ensure smooth fulfillment of contracts post-design phase. The role requires coordinating with on-site teams, engineers, and design staff, and traveling to job sites as needed.

The ideal candidate will manage construction activities, ensure schedule and safety compliance, and collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Travel to job sites is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-construction activities including review of drawings for scope and constructability.
• Assist with subcontractor selection and bid process management.
• Review contracts together with M&V requirements.
• Develop construction schedules and manage subcontractors to hit milestones.
• Maintain Safety Program and develop safety binder for site teams.
• Lead on-site construction activities, attend progress meetings, and document field progress.
