Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a Construction Manager to ensure smooth fulfillment of contracts after design. The role involves on-site leadership during heavy construction, with possible office or remote work at other times; travel to job sites is required.

Responsibilities span pre-construction review, subcontractor selection, bid management, schedule development, safety, cost tracking, commissioning support, and post-construction closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage on-site activities and coordinate with admin, engineers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review Project Drawings for Scope, Constructability, and Cost Savings.
• Assist with Subcontractor Selection and manage the Bid Process.
• Review Contract along with M&V requirements.
• Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit milestones.
• Lead Construction Review Meetings and issue Weekly Field Reports.
• Assist with Commissioning effort and address M&V items during construction.
• Review Subcontractor Pay Applications and track project Financials.
• Schedule factory start-ups and ensure warranty documentation.
