Job summary

BKF Engineers invites a Senior Construction Manager to serve as the Owner's professional representative on bridge, roadway, and general civil construction projects. You will ensure projects are built per contract documents and maintain strict QA/QC processes.

Ideal candidates bring California P.E. licensure with 7+ years of roadway/bridge construction contract management, CALTRANS familiarity, and strong leadership to guide staff and manage budgets, schedules, and client relations.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering and California P.E. license required.
• 7+ years of construction contract management experience on roadways/bridges.
• Knowledge of CALTRANS/local agency projects and federal funding coordination preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage people.

Responsibilities

• Represent Owner on bridge, roadway, and civil construction projects.
• Ensure work complies with contract documents and QA/QC requirements.
• Manage project staff, contract administration, and scope/budget/schedule.
• Review change orders, shop drawings, materials tests, and surveys.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate with agencies and clients.
