Job summary

Turner Construction is seeking a motivated Intern to assist on an active Dallas project. The role provides hands-on exposure to construction management, safety, and coordination with subcontractors.

You will work under supervision to learn project lifecycle tasks, document control, material tracking, and reporting, while developing foundational knowledge for a future career in construction management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a college degree in a relevant field with at least 1 year of completed coursework.
• Must be 18+ to work at a construction site.
• Desire to learn about construction management.
• Commitment to standard hours and overtime as needed.
• Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership potential.
• English reading and writing proficiency.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist on active construction project site under supervision.
• Support with meeting coordination, material tracking, and progress reporting.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Assist with preparation of estimates and RFIs.
• Attend project site visits and document activities.
• Support communication with Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
