Job summary

Turner Construction Company in Dallas, TX is offering a seasonal intern position on an active construction project. You will be supervised and assigned to tasks across project engineering, safety, document control, and progress reporting while gaining foundational knowledge in construction management and lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a college/university degree program or Co-op, with at least 1 year of completed education.
Must be 18+ to work on a construction site.
Desire to learn in construction management and construction industry.
Commitment to standard business hours and potential overtime.
Demonstrate interpersonal skills and leadership or volunteer experience.
Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, and progress reporting.
Follow site safety rules and PPE requirements.
Assist with start-up activities, RFIs, submittals, and contract information flow.
Attend site visits and assist with correspondence to architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Assist with schedule tracking and coordination with trades and subcontractors.
Support project close-out preparations.
