Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited degree program; Co-op eligible; at least 1 year of education completed.
• 18 years of age or older to work at a construction project site.
• Interest in construction management and learning about the industry.
• Commitment to standard business hours and potential overtime.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, material tracking, file management, document control, and progress reporting.
• Follow project site signage and supervisor instructions as directed.
• Provide progress reports to supervisor and learn about construction management.
• Relate classroom knowledge to work activities.
• Maintain professional relationships with employees, customers, clients, and subcontractors.
• Participate in training, meetings, and orientation.
• Comply with safety protocols, wear PPE, and adhere to safety expectations.
• Assist with project start‑up activities and support to Project Engineer/Project Manager.
• Assist with collection and review of information for RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings.
• Assist with preparation of estimates for changes in work from subcontractors.
• Attend project site visits to observe field activities.
• Assist with correspondence to Architects, Engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist with communication to trades and subcontractors to track schedules.
• Assist with monitoring subcontractor safety program compliance.
• Assist with quantity take‑offs and studies for project items.
• Request and distribute subcontractor proposals to assemble delivery system proposals.
• Assist with project close out preparations.
