Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited four‑year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (business, technology, finance, construction, real estate, human resources, marketing, communications, operations).
• Demonstrated interest in learning about career opportunities within D.R. Horton business functions.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a professional team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, office, field location, jobsite, or business function.
• Assist with department-specific projects, research, reporting, administrative activities, coordination efforts, systems, processes, and other business needs.
• Learn and apply departmental responsibilities, industry terminology, business systems, company policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to understand how areas of the Company support homebuilding and customer experience.
• Participate in training programs, meetings, departmental rotations, and other learning opportunities.
• Explore career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses that may lead to future full-time employment after graduation.
• Conduct all business professionally, ethically, and respectfully.
