Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Construction Intern to gain hands-on experience in construction operations, project work, and field support. Interns rotate across departments, participate in training, and contribute to projects that shape the homebuilding process.

This internship offers exposure to the company’s homebuilding and customer experience, with hands-on tasks, office and field activities, and opportunities for future full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area such as business, technology, finance, construction, real estate, HR, marketing, operations.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations in the assigned department, division, or jobsite.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Learn and apply company policies, safety requirements and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members across departments to understand homebuilding and customer experience.
• Participate in training programs and departmental rotations to broaden knowledge.
