D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Summer 2027 Construction Intern to gain hands-on experience across departments, including office and field environments.

The program offers rotations, project work, administrative support, and reporting, with exposure to homebuilding processes and customer experience. Interns will participate in training, meetings, and career-path explorations, with potential for future full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college and entering junior or senior year or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (business, technology, finance, construction, real estate, HR, marketing, operations).
• Demonstrated interest in homebuilding and related businesses.
• Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations in the assigned department, office, field location, or jobsite.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Learn and apply company policies, safety requirements, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team and cross-functional departments to understand the business.
