The program emphasizes learning about homebuilding processes, departments, and customer experience while developing professional skills in a Fortune 500 homebuilder. Interns may work in office or field environments, with opportunities for career growth following graduation, and occasional

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year college or university and entering junior or senior year, or recently graduated.
• Pursuing a degree related to the internship area (e.g., business, technology, construction).
• Demonstrated interest in learning about career opportunities within homebuilding or related fields.
• Strong willingness to learn and contribute in a professional team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members, customers, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations within the assigned department, division, or field location.
• Assist with department projects, research, reporting, and coordination tasks.
• Learn and apply company policies, safety requirements and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to understand business operations.
• Participate in trainings, rotations, meetings, and other learning opportunities.
• Explore future career opportunities within D.R. Horton and affiliated businesses.
• Conduct all business in a professional, ethical manner; travel as needed.
• Work overtime as required.
