Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a defined book of business, retain clients, and support new business development.

The role requires 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with active property & casualty licensing (CIC preferred). Hybrid work with a NY-based office or fully remote within Eastern/Central Time Zones is offered, along with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Active property & casualty licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Address policy administration, billing, claims, and policy renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion and accurate data across processes.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
