Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business. This role coordinates daily admin tasks, resolves complex issues, and ensures accuracy across policy administration, billing, claims, and coverages.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with an active P&C license and preferably CIC or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing is required.
• CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support account retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Renewals: research, submissions, negotiate coverages, present proposals.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity to ensure timely completion and communicate status with the team.
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership aligned with IOA values.
