Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines. The role focuses on managing an assigned book of business, supporting growth, and ensuring retention with strong client service and policy administration.

Hybrid work is preferred (1 day in NY office) with fully remote options for those in Eastern/Central Time Zones. applicants must hold active P&C license and preferably CIC. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Oversee policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and client submissions.
• Lead the account management team and ensure timely workflow and data accuracy.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
