Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Business Development Manager to own relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms in a defined market. You will drive the pipeline, coordinate with engineering on pricing and qualifications, and push opportunities from first contact to signed agreements.

You will report pipeline and results monthly, travel locally, and participate in pre-bid meetings and client events. A base salary plus commission rewards revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• An existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the market.
• Disciplined pipeline habits: documented, forecastable, and honest.
• Comfortable talking specifications and schedules with a superintendent and contract terms with an owner.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
• Own relationships end-to-end and manage the pursuit pipeline in CRM.
• Coordinate proposals with the engineering team: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry associations, pre-bid meetings, and client events.
• Report pipeline and results monthly.
