Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own the market relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms. You will manage the pipeline, coordinate with the engineering team, and drive proposals to close deals.

Qualifications

5+ years selling professional or technical services to construction.
Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the posting market.
Disciplined pipeline habits: forecastable, documented, and honest.
Comfortable discussing specifications and schedules with a superintendent and owners.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a target list of contractors, owners, developers and design firms; own those relationships end to end.
Track permits, bid boards and project announcements to pursue work before award and qualify opportunities.
Run the pursuit pipeline in the CRM from first contact through proposal, negotiation and signed agreement.
Coordinate proposals with the engineering team: scope, pricing, qualifications and follow-up.
Represent the company at industry associations, pre-bid meetings and client events; report pipeline and results monthly.
