Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Finance Business Partnering Manager (Construction) to lead financial planning and strategic partnering with Area General Managers across assigned sites. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation, delivering insights to improve plant performance.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing finance, strong ERP experience (Oracle/SAP), and the ability to coach a small finance team while collaborating with FP&A and accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced Degrees, CMA, CPA a plus
• Relevant work experience could be considered in lieu of a degree for the right candidate.
• 5+ years manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience required
• Experience with data mining or planning applications
• Experience with complex ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, SysPro, Sage), SAP S/4 Hana preferred
• Advanced MS Office
• Travel - 25% to 50%
• Prior experience in team leadership preferred
• Attention to detail around producing high quality products and meeting deadlines
• The ability to be tactical as well as see the bigger operational picture.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex and detailed data into actionable insights
• In-depth understanding of measurement of goals and KPIs
• Ability to challenge information and uncover robust facts for decisions
• Ability to act independently as a subject matter expert

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area General Manager(s) to provide financial expertise and leadership
• Provide operations with strategic tools and reports to drive results
• Support long-term capital allocation strategy and strategic financial decisions
• Prepare and manage annual strategic plans and budgeting for the area(s)
• Ensure weekly forecasting is complete and accurate with visibility to outturn
• Analyze plant operation results and variances
• Monitor financial performance and drive cost reductions
• Research pricing trends and other factors affecting performance
• Provide business modelling and risk assessments
• Lead, coach, develop and mentor a small team of finance professionals
• Coordinate with Accounting and FP&A for reporting requirements
