Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, seeks a Finance Business Partnering Manager (Construction) to lead financial strategy for assigned area(s) and partner with Area General Managers to drive results.

You will build robust financial plans, forecast performance, and support capital decisions across multiple sites, with travel up to 50% and a strong emphasis on cost control and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree requirement; CMA/CPA a plus.
• 5+ years manufacturing finance/cost accounting experience.
• Experience with data mining or planning applications.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, SysPro, Sage); SAP S/4 Hana preferred.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Travel 25% to 50%, team leadership preferred.
• Attention to detail and deadline orientation.
• The ability to be tactical while seeing the bigger operational picture.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area General Manager(s) to provide financial expertise for manufacturing sites.
• Deliver strategic tools and interpretd reports to drive business results.
• Support long-term capital allocation strategy and financial decision making.
• Prepare and manage annual strategic plans and budgeting for the area.
• Ensure the weekly forecasting process is complete and accurate.
• Analyze plant operation results and variances and impact on operations.
• Monitor performance to drive cost reductions and control initiatives.
• Research pricing, competitors' trends and factors affecting performance.
• Provide business modelling and risk assessments.
• Lead, coach, develop and mentor a 1–3 person finance team.
• Coordinate with Accounting and FP&A for reporting requirements.
