Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Minnesota seeks a Finance Business Partnering Manager (Construction) to lead financial strategy for manufacturing sites. The role partners with Area General Managers and supports capital planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the Local Solutions business.

You will mentor a small team and collaborate with Accounting/FP&A to ensure accurate reporting and robust financial insight. Travel 25–50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CMA/CPA a plus.
• 5+ years manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience.
• Experience with data mining or planning applications.
• Experience with complex ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, SysPro, Sage); SAP S/4 Hana preferred.
• Advanced MS Office.
• Travel 25% to 50%.
• Prior team leadership experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to think tactically and see the bigger operational picture.
• Proven ability to synthesize data into actionable decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area General Manager to provide financial expertise and strategic leadership for manufacturing sites.
• Provide operations with strategic reports to drive business results.
• Support long-term capital allocation and strategic financial decisions.
• Prepare and manage annual strategic plans and budgets for the area.
• Ensure accurate weekly forecast with visibility and actions.
• Analyze plant performance and variances.
• Identify cost reductions and cost-control initiatives.
• Conduct business modelling and risk assessments.
• Lead and mentor a small finance team (1-3).
• Coordinate with Accounting and FP&A to meet reporting requirements.
