Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an energetic outside sales professional in Las Vegas to develop and manage established accounts and add new customers. You will sell NEFCO products and services to commercial construction sites and contractor offices, traveling throughout the territory to build relationships.

You will use the NEFCO CRM, perform timely quotes, coordinate with inside sales, and participate in product training.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience (preferably in construction supply sales).
• Must have a valid driver’s license; driver background check must show a record of sustained safe driving.
• Degree preferred (although industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily rigorous travel in assigned territory to commercial construction jobsites and contractor offices.
• Represent the Company professionally with customers and prospects in your territory.
• Own customer relationship and day-to-day service; handle special deliveries.
• Make regular sales calls to customers and prospects in an economical, systematic order.
• Introduce new products and perform joint calls with Vendor Reps and NEFCO Sales Management.
• Assist inside sales during quotes/orders and develop relationships with the inside team.
• Follow up on quotes generated by inside sales with urgency and accuracy.
• Consult with Sales Management on large quote opportunities.
• Share competitive information to support strong quoting activity.
• Identify prospects through databases, directories and industry groups.
• Use NEFCO CRM for recording activities and follow-up within guidelines.
• Present catalogs and literature to customers and prospects.
• Understand spec sheets and submittal requirements for key jobsites.
• Attend sales meetings and product training sessions as required.
• Assist in solving customer issues and delinquent accounts as needed.
• Help develop and implement sales plans for the territory.
• Attend regional reviews to discuss forecasts and territory activity.
