Job summary

NEFCO Corp. is seeking a dynamic Outside Sales representative to develop and manage established and new customer relationships in the Missouri area. You will travel to commercial job sites and contractor offices, manage day-to-day service, and introduce new products while coordinating with vendor reps.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills, along with a professional sales approach and reliable attendance. Prior construction supply sales is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Proficient with NEFCO’s CRM and Microsoft Office.
• Goal-oriented with integrity and a sense of urgency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Degree preferred; industry experience may substitute.
• 1–2 years in construction supply sales.
• Previous outside sales with mechanical or electrical contractors a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily within the assigned territory to commercial job sites and offices.
• Manage customer relationships and provide day-to-day service.
• Make regular sales calls to customers and prospects.
• Introduce new products and coordinate with vendor reps.
• Assist inside sales during quotes and orders.
• Develop territory sales plans with management.
• Use CRM to record activities and support follow-up.
• Attend sales meetings and product trainings.
• Support in solving customer issues and delinquent accounts.
• Maintain professionalism with customers.
• Flexibly schedule calls; work hours align with job sites.
