Job summary

Ruscilli Construction is seeking a Field Technology Specialist to serve as the primary IT resource for field operations, split between the corporate office and active jobsites. You will deploy, configure, and support technology used on construction projects and remote locations, and provide onsite technical assistance when remote support is not sufficient.

The role requires regular travel to jobsites to install equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure teams have secure access to tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level skills in IT; strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and connectivity.
Experience supporting field personnel, construction tech, or remote locations considered a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Windows devices, wireless networking, and basic networking concepts required.
Comfort using hand and power tools for mounting displays and installing equipment.
Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and support jobsite technology, including networking equipment, conference room systems, printers, security cameras, and workstation hardware.
Transport, install, and maintain technology equipment at active construction projects and remote locations.
Provide onsite technical support when remote assistance is insufficient, reducing downtime.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues; escalate complex issues as needed.
Assist with technology deployment and workstation setup for HQ move and future office expansions.
Manage and maintain IT inventory, including tracking, deployment, returns, and lifecycle management.
Perform equipment refreshes, workstation replacements, and jobsite relocations.
Ensure deployments adhere to IT standards, approved configurations, and guidelines for consistency and security.
Coordinate with project teams to assess technology needs and ensure sites are properly equipped throughout the project lifecycle.
