Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator to perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, including take-offs, cost research, and preparing Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC). You will use Timberline for estimates and collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and procurement teams.

The role involves developing project schedules and cost analyses, supporting field and project personnel, and contributing to bid decisions and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating tasks including take-offs and cost research.
• Prepare OPCCs and assist design-build projects.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing.
• Develop baseline schedules and WBS with project controls.
• Provide field and project support and manage small assignments.
