Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction Estimator to perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks across projects. You will use Timberline for OPCC development, conduct cost research, and support pre-bid activities with field teams and subcontractors.

The role involves preparing estimates, reviewing pricing, and assisting with change management and project controls. Travel may be required to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Prepare Opinions of Probable Cost (OPCC) and design-build project estimates.
• Develop schedules and financial analyses for project reporting.
• Coordinate with project team on RDIs, subcontracts, and change management.
• Assist in development of purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders.
