CDM Smith in Tacoma, WA is seeking an estimator to perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, including quantity take-offs, price lists, and researching costs for take-offs. Timberline experience for OPCC and design-build projects is involved.

You will review pricing with project managers, contact subs for current pricing, join pre-bid walks, and assist in Bid-Day tabulations, while providing field and site administration support.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks: quantity take-offs, material lists, and researching costs.
• Uses Timberline to prepare or assist in OPCCs and design-build projects.
• Reviews pricing from project managers or procurement against OPCCs.
• Contacts subcontractors and suppliers for current pricing and bidder interest.
• Participates in pre-bid job walks and Bid-Day quote tabulations.
• Supervises project activities and provides field/site admin support.
• Prepares submittals and interprets specs and drawings for field leaders.
• Coordinates timely arrival of parts, equipment and materials with field personnel.
• Develops purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and applications for payment.
