Job summary

CDM Smith in Eugene, OR seeks an estimator to perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks across construction projects. You will conduct quantity take-offs, compile material price lists, and research labor, material, and equipment costs.

Responsibilities include using Timberline to prepare OPCCs for design-build projects, reviewing pricing from vendors, participating in pre-bid walks and bid-day tabulations, and supporting field personnel and project managers with submittals and change

Qualifications

• Experience with construction estimating and cost research.
• Familiarity with OPCC and design-build projects.
• Ability to coordinate with project managers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs and research labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) using Timberline.
• Review pricing from subcontractors and suppliers against OPCCs.
• Participate in pre-bid job walks and Bid-Day quote tabulations.
• Assist in submittals and change management; support field and project personnel.
