Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a qualified estimator to perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks across various construction projects. You will use Timberline to prepare cost opinions and support procurement activities, bids, and change management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience, with travel possible. You’ll collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate budgets and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take‑offs and cost research.
• Utilizes Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC).
• Receives, reviews and files pricings against OPCCs.
• Develops or assists in development of purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and applications for payment.
