Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator with foundational experience in construction cost estimation, scheduling, and project coordination. You will perform quantity take-offs, research labor and material costs, and support OPCC development using Timberline.

Collaboration with project teams and subcontractors is essential for accurate bid and change management. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, at least 3 years of experience, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Performs estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Prepares Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) with Timberline.
• Coordinates with project managers and vendors for pricing.
• Supports field teams with documents, RFIs, and submittals.
• Develops project schedules and budgets, and tracks progress.
• Assists in change management and risk analysis.
