Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Cost Manager to assist in developing and managing the financial strategy of projects. You will partner with the project management team to oversee budgets, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts, while generating reports for stakeholders and identifying variances and risks.

Work involves collaborating with accounting to ensure accurate billings, cost integration, and direct cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related degree.
• 5-10 years of Project Cost experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls, and construction execution practices is required.
• Working knowledge of PMWeb or similar project portfolio management software, DataServ, Excel, JD Edwards, or related software programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and management of the project financial strategy.
• Manage the project budget, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts.
• Generate and maintain reports for various stakeholders; identify variances and risks.
• Ensure quality control processes to improve cost procedures and conformity with management's strategy.
• Take ownership of cost control function and ensure integrity of cost and forecast reporting.
