Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Project Cost Manager to assist in developing and managing the project financial strategy. You will work with the project management team to control budgets, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts, ensuring alignment with overall strategy.

Responsibilities include generating reports, identifying variances and risks, and maintaining cost control processes across disciplines. Travel nationwide is required; PMP is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management, or related degree.
• 5–10 years of Project Cost experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Working knowledge of PMWeb, DataServ, Excel, JD Edwards or related software.
• PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of the project financial strategy.
• Manage project budget, costs, change orders, pricing requests, billings, and forecasts.
• Generate and maintain reports for various stakeholders and identify variances and risks.
• Ensure cost control and quality control processes align with management strategy.
• Collaborate with accounting, project team, subcontractors, and clients as needed.
