Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Cost Manager to provide accurate, timely cost data to support job profitability and overall project financial health. You will own cost reporting, forecast fully loaded labor costs, and collaborate with Operations, Accounting, and FP&A to drive informed decisions for nationwide projects in construction.

The role requires strong analytical skills and experience with Procore, JDE/SAP, and cost control best practices.

Qualifications

• Build cost models and analyze budget vs. actuals.
• Translate cost data for field teams and leadership.
• Perform month-end close and GL-to-subledger reconciliation.
• Understand ASC 606 revenue recognition and job costing.

Responsibilities

• Owns cost data accuracy and reporting for job profitability.
• Forecasts monthly ECAs and validates labor, materials, and tasks.
• Conduct monthly cost reviews with Operations to explain variances.
• Coordinate with Contracts on subcontract cost implications.
