Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an experienced accounting professional for an AR-focused role based in Saint Paul, MN. The position involves detailed project accounting, billing, and financial oversight to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with OSAS, billing processes, and collaboration with operations to align project performance with financial results. This is a contract position onsite in Saint Paul.

Qualifications

• 1) Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 2) 3+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, or AR.
• 3) Experience in commercial construction is a strong plus.
• 4) Hands-on project accounting, job costing, retainage, and construction billing.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR processes and submit construction pay applications.
• Process daily cash receipts and maintain records.
• Lead collections and manage project retainage to resolve issues.
