Job summary

Romanoff Electric is seeking a full-time Billing Clerk in Toledo, Ohio to process invoices and maintain accounting records. The role involves calculating and posting data to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely payments to vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a two-year degree or equivalent experience, strong Excel and Outlook skills, and familiarity with accounting software. This position supports project managers and interacts with multiple departments in a fast-paced office

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience in administrative or accounting roles.
• Experience in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
• Working knowledge of the construction industry, operations, and safety practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and city regulations.

Responsibilities

• Compute, classify, record and verify numerical data for accounting records.
• Scan copies of invoices with issues and route to appropriate party, follow-up to resolve open issues.
• Create AR invoices and credit memos.
• Update customer files and maintain exempt certificates.
• Organize and maintain A/R records and assist with month-end close by verifying general ledger accounts.
• Assist with audits, both internal and external, by handling all accounts receivable related requests.
• Support Project Managers.
