Qualifications

• Accounting degree preferred.
• 2-4+ years of accounting experience; construction accounting required.
• Familiarity with tax calculations and accruals.
• Proficiency in Excel, Oracle/JDE, OnBase, SmartSheet, and Procore is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable and Billing, including contract terms and owner billings.
• Prepare and process customer billings on time for various contract types.
• Provide billing backup details and balance billings against job costs.
• Review subcontractor pay applications and percent of completion.
• Process online purchase orders, change orders, and expense invoices.
• Analyze tax amounts on expense reports and invoices.
• Track owner direct purchases and obtain valid W-9s for new vendors.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve information flow to Project Accounting.
